Up until now, we all believed that obtaining suction on a lower denture was impossible or, at best, just a happy accident. Costly implants were the only way to truly keep a lower denture stable. Luckily, however, this has now changed. Dr. Jiro Abe, a Japanese dentist, has developed a revolutionary new technique to achieve suction in lower dentures. In 2017, Cole traveled to Japan to get his certification for the Lower Suction Denture technique. In 2019, he furthered this training by obtaining advanced certification for those more challenging cases.

HOW IS THIS DONE?

Incorporating the BPS (Biofunctional Prosthetic System) in combination with sophisticated impression techniques using slow setting, high definition impression materials to precisely determine the position and action of cheek and tongue muscles.

WILL IT WORK FOR ME?

A detailed exam will be performed during a consultation to determine if you are a candidate for the lower suction denture. The level of suction can be determined after a special functional impression is taken. Even if you are not a candidate for lower suction dentures, using this technique will result in a superior fitting, better functioning, and more comfortable lower denture.
